RegPlatform is a technology platform that streamlines regulatory change management. It provides firms with a one-stop, continuously maintained inventory of global regulations, with effortless horizon scanning, integration capabilities and workflow management. RegPlatform combines industry leading AI technology with expert validated insights to simplify the complexities of multi-jurisdictional regulatory content.
RegBrain allows customers to apply CUBE's AI models directly to their own content, enabling faster release and feedback cycles. Our flagship AI services will be included, spanning structural detection, classification, entity extraction, summarisation, and recommendations. Available to customers and partners as APIs and via a UI.
Role mission:
We are in search of an experienced hands-on Development Manager to spearhead a team of proficient Application Engineers in the delivery of cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft stack within an Agile framework.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in software development, with extensive experience in cloud-based technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure. The Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the team towards the successful delivery of high throughput, highly scalable, and highly available applications.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Application Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
Project Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor project progress and resource allocation, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful delivery.
Technical Oversight
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Review technical designs and architecture decisions, promoting scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Collaboration and Communication
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Senior Management, ML/AI, QA, DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively translating requirements and expectations.
- Foster a culture of transparency and open communication, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Extensive development experience on the Microsoft stack, including .NET Core, C#.NET, and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, with experience in the past with server-less programming, event-driven architectures, and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team in a remote or distributed work environment.
- Proven track record of driving results through effective project management, resource planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or React is beneficial but not required.
