Role: PMO Lead (SL).

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (minimum expectation of one day a week in the office).

Role mission:  

CUBE has ambitious growth plans which require development of our technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for organising, managing, reporting, and delivering various infrastructure projects, ensuring that project goals are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Responsibilities:  

• Working within the Technology Delivery team, responsible for the monitoring and reporting of the Technology project portfolio.
• Manage the collation of data and construction of regular reports by working with project managers and technical project owners to ensure successful execution, chasing and challenging progress as appropriate.
• Manage portfolio and resource capacity data to inform decision making by the leadership team.
• Assure the delivery methodology.
• Ensure project milestones are met and report progress to stakeholders regularly.
• Support the Head of Technology Delivery in building out the function from building a suite of tools to enable project reporting, prioritisation and capacity management.
• Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage innovation within the team. 

Key Objectives/Outputs: 

• Ensure that every project has a clear scope, structure, and plan for each project.
• Ensure that the status of every project is reported on status in line with cadence and quality requirements.
• Manage risks and issues, escalating appropriately to ensure blockers are resolved and risks and mitigated at pace.
• Develop approaches for effective resource capacity management across projects.

What we’re looking for: 

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role building out PMO functions including the setup of metrics and use of tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, Confluence, JIRA and project management tools.
• Strong analytical and excel skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Project management knowledge and proven experience moving in a fast paced project or programme environment.
• Ability to collect, collate and analyse project data to advise project managers on areas that need attention such as dependencies.
• Understanding of PMP, P30, PRINCE2, SAFE and other methodologies as tools to drive delivery.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business subject.
