Role: Contract Infrastructure Engineer - Azure & Linux.

This is a 3 month contract opportunity with the prospect of extension where required.

Location: London, with the expectations of one day per week in the office as a minimum.

Role mission:

Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager and as a member of the fast-paced Infrastructure team, broad responsibilities include the implementation and operation of all production and non-production environments. This includes Public (Azure/GCP/AWS) and Private cloud infrastructure and supporting technologies

Responsibilities:

• Work within the Infrastructure Operations global team to deliver a global follow-the-sun 2/3rd tier support service
• Day to day operations and maintenance of both public and private cloud environments (VMWare, Azure). 
• Support and maintenance of Infrastructure within internally hosted platforms and other cloud hosted services, supporting CUBE services (VMWare, Linux, Windows, SQL, AD, SAN's, Backups etc). 
• Ensuring Logging, monitoring and alerting is complaint with policy and meets service owner’s need.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure security
• Raising, designing, and implementing recommendations for improvements to internal/public cloud environments.
• Participate in development, testing, and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
